Rhinoplasty Showcase #3
This beautiful, young professional was concerned her nose did not match the delicate features on the rest of her face. Previous nasal trauma further damaged the tip of her nose. The patient complained, “The tip of my nose has no definition and is so “blah-looking.”
Keep in mind that each patient is unique and your results may vary.
Concern Area #1 shows an underdeveloped lower third of the nose resulting in an unbalanced appearance, in combination with her other facial anatomy. Concern Area #2 shows evidence of nasal trauma with collapse of the left lateral structures.
The collapsed lateral nasal wall was corrected through an open rhinoplasty with osteotomies, the bone is divided. Extensive septal cartilage grafting reshaped her lower nasal vault and spreader grafts restored her dorsal nasal lines.
Her long term results are delightful. Her new nose matches her gloriously delicate facial features. Both surgeon and patient are thrilled with her outcome.
