Center passes recertification with flying colors

In September, 2003, our operating suite was inspected by the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities and found to have no areas of deficiencies. Receiving our accreditation, we continue to offer a safe, desirable alternative to in-hospital care. This yearly accreditation process certifies to the community that this surgery facility meets the nationally recognized standards set for ambulatory surgery sites. Our facility must be in compliance with all local, state, and federal codes, laws, and regulations. A certificate of accreditation provides evidence that our facility meets high standards for patient’s safety in the outpatient surgical environment. The inspector from AAAASF, Dr. Mark Salisbury, was very complimentary of our facility stating that it was one of the most outstanding facilities he had seen. Many thanks to our registered nurse, Mary Hoch, for keeping us in compliance since opening at this site in May 2000.
